Grown in the lush, mountainous terrain of Pitalito—one of the most renowned coffee-producing areas in Huila, Colombia—this washed-process coffee showcases the best of what the region has to offer. With elevations ranging from 1,500 to 1,800 meters above sea level and a humid climate that stays steady year-round, Pitalito provides ideal conditions for cultivating high-quality Arabica. The result is a coffee that’s complex, vibrant, and remarkably well-balanced.

This Colombian Supremo features large, screen-size 17 beans and a flavor profile that’s both crowd-pleasing and nuanced. You’ll find smooth notes of milk chocolate and roasted almond, layered with stone fruit sweetness and a crisp green apple acidity. A hint of florals adds to the complexity, while the medium body and clean finish make it an excellent choice for both espresso and filter brewing methods.

Colombia’s Huila region is celebrated for its rich volcanic soil, diverse microclimates, and consistently high-quality harvests. Despite its proximity to coffee giants like Brazil, Colombia distinguishes itself through smallholder production and a focus on flavor variety. With two harvests each year and a deep-rooted coffee culture, Pitalito continues to produce some of the country’s most expressive and dynamic coffees—living up to the legacy symbolized by Colombia’s iconic coffee farmer, Juan Valdez.
